So how does one get started?
Before you become a Jumia Kenya affiliate you will have to be registered in the affiliate program.You can do that here.

Once you have successfully registered,you will login to access your affiliate management dashboard.
Some of the functions you can access on your dashboard include:-
- Edit your basic details e.g. set up a bank account where you will be receiving your commissions, edit your name and contact details
- View your commissions-paid commissions and pending payouts
- Access Admedia-where you can access web banners and links to use on your platforms. Here you can also access the Deep Link generator which you can use to customize links to products not included in the Admedia banners
- Reporting-here you get to access data from activities related to your affiliate account e.g how many clicks you have received from your placements,the source of traffic and more.

How do you use the links you get from the admin dashboard.
For Website Owners
You have two options to get code.
Option 1: Visit the Admedia Centre on the affiliate dashboard.
- This is where you get all the banners and links to use when marketing.
- To access the Admedia click on the Programs Tab. You will access a variety of banners.
- Click on the banner category and choose the size of ad banner you want to use.
- Under the Ad Media code ; Choose Default adcode instead of adServer URLs.
- A script will be generator just before the banner preview.Copy and paste the code onto the web page you intend to use it.
Option 2 : Using the Deeplink Generator
- This tool enables you to generate customized links for specific products.
- Visit the main Jumia website and browse through the different categories and choose the specific product you would want to market.
- Copy the URL of the product from the browser address field and open the Deep link generator on your affiliate dashboard.
- The deeplink tool is located on the bottom left of your admedia banners list.Click Tools and Click on the Deeplink Generator.
- Enter your SubID and paste the URL of the product you want to market and click generate.
- A new URL will be generated . Copy the URL and open any URL shortener to shorten the link.
- You can then post the link into any of your social media pages or profile or embed the link into your website content.
Note: All links generated are tracked by cookies on the a clients browser for up to 30 days
