
Zambian midfielder Clatous Chota Chama scored a fancy back heel in the dying minutes to send Simba to the group stage of the CAF Champions League and relegate Nkana to the Confederation Cup.
Nkana came into the match with an advantage of a 2-1 home. The visitors were the first to score after 17 minutes, Walter Bwalya heading home a Harrison Chisala cross.
Simba started sensing the danger put some agency on their attack. Twelve minutes later it was 1-1 as Jonas Mkunde beat Allan Chibwe in the Nkana goal from a outside the area after being set up by Clatous Chama.
Simba went 2-1 up just before the break after Meddie Kagere rose highest to head home a Nicholas Gyan cross. The second half was tight affair but Simba seemed the better side.
Clatous Chama finally broke the hearts of his fellow country men after he got on the end of a Hassan Dilunga pass finishing off in checky fashion with a fancy back heel.
3-1 the match ended, Relegating Nkana to the CAF Confederation Cup play offs and sending Simba SC to the group stage.
